Get Your Kids Make Their Own Favorite Cookies

Spending Christmas holidays with creativity is basically good for your kids. They won’t feel bored in spending holidays and they can do something useful for them. They may create their own gifts or those whom they want to give to their loved ones.

However, most parents don’t know how to get them to be creative. Kids get bored easily and they don’t always focus on something they don’t really love. Actually you can simply ask them to make something from things they always love, cookies. Make cookies on sticks, like lollipops, and give them happy faces with candy. Use any chocolate chip cookie recipe. Put balls of cookie dough onto non-stick baking paper on a baking tray, and poke a lollipop stick horizontally into each cookie before baking it.

Once the cookies are cool, lift each one by its stick, dip it into melted chocolate and then colored sprinkles to make the hair, and stick candy on with chocolate for the eyes and mouth. Wrap in small cellophane bags, one for each member of the family. Tie ribbons around the tops, and attach a gift tag with each person’s name.
